How does it work?

How to receive your Annual Waste Transfer Note?

TerraCycle requires businesses that send their waste from commercial premises to complete an annual waste transfer note before sending their first parcels of waste of the year.

A waste transfer note is official documentation to track where waste, sent throughout the year, is coming from and where it is going to. It’s part of the Duty of Care legislation, which ensures waste is handled in a way that does not harm the environment or human health.

There are two types of Waste Transfer Notes :

- Single site Waste Transfer Notes for individual collection sites

- Multi-site Waste Transfer Notes for customers who own multiple collection sites
